Not sure where to post this question so thought here is as good as any where. My friend has a 300lb SnapOn tool box (that's empty) dimensions are about 21"x37"x30". Need to have it shipped from New England to AZ. Any advise on who to use to ship it and how the heck to pack it??

Sure. It'll be a Snap... hee hee...

Really. Look in your local yellow pages for a transport company. A moving company will cost you a small fortune but a transport company will move stuff for you for cheaper. The only thing is this: you have to wait until they have a run going where you want it to go.

As for packing it, I would remove all the drawers and pack them in a box or boxes. You can protect them with bubble wrap which you can get in rolls at staples or UHaul. Protect the unit itself with heavy duty corrugated cardboard and bubble wrap and tape it all really well. You might even want to get ahold of a wooden platform (which you can often find just lying around behind grocery, furniture or home hardware stores.

Good luck.... wish I was getting the tool box!

call one of your local trucking co.They drive that way all the time.some of them will make that type delivery.all you would have to do is close drawers and tie or tape shut.Get it to them and pick up where they say.Ive done it.Also call and check air shipment can be done same way.

Use pack mail, or UPS Ground, they will tell you how to pack it.
