I have a very tiny apartment. My livingroom and kitchen are only separated by a short kitchen counter. Here are the problems:

1) the carpet is dark blue. the biggest length of wall in the livingroom is this horrid grey panneling. The other side is white. I can't paint or put anything too permanent on the walls.

2) The door is grey and solid on the inside. It looks more like a gas station bathroom door than the inside of a home.

3) I only have on window in my livingroom and one window in my bedroom on the opposite end of the apartment.

4) my kitchen and livingroom are basically one big room, with just a counter to separate them.

5) my kitchen is "U" shaped and barely big enough for one person to stand in and cook. My stove is even half the size of a normal stove.

6) my bathroom is very small and has white/gry linolium flooring. The walls are white. There is a tub/shower, a toilet and a sink. No cabinets or anything other than a small medicine cabinet.

The toilet was working. Went back in to use it and it would not flush, took off the lid or the tank no water. Played around with the internal ball and chain...no water. Checked the valve and the water is on. The other toilet is working fine and the water in that bathroom is working fine??? Anyone have a clue? Stumped!

Thanks,
Tina

I am literally changing one or the other, every 15 days or so, around the house. It seem to happen not only in one place but randomly every where in the house. I noticed some just burn out with sizzling sound with flashing light. Could there be some problem with Voltage in the house?

My carpets are dark blue...i have gry paneling on one walls and the other walls are bright white. I can't paint or put anything perm. on the walls. it's very, very small. I need some ideas to make it look more like home. Also, I have a tiny kitchen that is pretty much attached to the living room with only a low counter to separate the two rooms. Is there something I can do to separate them without it looking tacky? I also have an even smaller bathroom, with gry/wht flooring and only a medicine cabinet for storage. I'm desperate and poor! help!

I just had fire wood delivered and I had the guy stack the logs on my deck. The deck in about 8ft off the ground and is supported between the house and the garage. The width is about 5ft between the two buldings and I hve it stacke against the rails closest to the garage.

I read the you should keep the wood as far away as possible from your home and to keep it off the ground to prevent pest (mice and insects). Id this a good or bad place to stack this wood? The deck has a half inch gap between the bords so it gets plenty of ventilation under it, plus beneth the deck is a open concrete floor area. Please let me know so I may make plans on moving it if I need to. Thanks.

I live in the deserts of southern california.... and I read an article in local paper that says not to water more than once a month. But when I don't water for even two days, the leaves become brown, brittle and dead.

Because it's a desert, the temp is still in the 70-80s during day and 30-40s at night. It hasnt rained in months and it snows two weeks in february.

So how often should I water my trees??????

It has spark and gas. Above the float in the carb is a jet that seems to be plugged. There's a tiny hole in one end and the other end seems to be plugged or closed. This "jet" threads in perpedicular to where I would expect the main jet to be and just under it. The generator will fire with starting fluid, gas does enter the float bowl, I've put new fuel in it, the spark is yelowish orange. Should it be blue?
