If it's your shower, you can do what ever you want with it! But, yes it will repel water. I don't think I'd like the smell though. And if your grout is not white, that could cause a problem.

They do make stuff for the shower though, that does the same thing.

Yup! it does for your shower what waxing does for your car. It makes the water bead up and run off faster. This helps with water spots and soap scum. Most car waxes have an abrasive cleaner in them and it may help your shower look nicer when you're done as well.

It does wear off, though. Soap will eventually degrade the wax.

Be careful about doing the floors, though. It can get really slippery.

yep. It keeps the mold and mildew down. I think there are the spray waxes that might work better. Just do the walls. If you spray wax lay a sheet or beach towel in the bottom. You don't want to get wax on the floor or you will step in and break your neck.

I would assume you can but I wouldn't recomend it. My husband waxed our linoleum floor with that stuff and we both kept falling on our butts for about a week.

Just curious cause I've never heard of it, but why would you want to wax your shower?

Sure. I've done it, cuts down on cleaning time afterwards. After doing the walls, use Soft Scrub with bleach on the floor to remove the wax dust.

You probably could if your shower is fiberglass. However, I would be careful about using car wax on ceramic or marble, stone, etc. Especially since there are cleaning products made for that specific purpose.

In the Marine Corps, We used to wax our floors with car wax. Sure I don't think it can hurt it.

Yes you can. Use Soft Scrub prior to waxing to remove crud and allow the wax to stick better. I use Klasse All-In-One in my shower and it has kept it clean for months now.

to answer your Q, yes you can wax your shower, but should you, no!
assuming its grouted ceramic tile it'll mold under the wax, use silicone sealer;
if its fiberglass, yes but not the floor unless you want to go *** over tea kettle.
a nice liquid cream cleanser would work and just keep it clean and a window cracked so mold and mildew do not start.

You can, but if you are looking to have the water bead off the shower walls, you are better to look at products that you use on windows to bead the water away. You can find these in the car wash section of your local hardware store.
