I usually vaccuum it coz if I wipe it it will stain the screens. So
So I wil take the vacuum hose and get the visible dust and cobwebs off, then touch up by wiping it with a clean dry cloth.

What kind of screen and where is it? Our answers are only as good as the infomation you give us.
Off hand, I suggest you hold a flame to it, and it would shrivel up like a lit piece of hair and turn to dust on the ground. Also, a vacuum cleaner.. yes, even on a screen would work. I use it often on my lint trap screen. If it's an outdoor screen, would just hosing it work? It's hard to think of the best w/o more info.

I'm not sure about casement windows, but I use my vacuum cleaner with the bristle attacthment to clean my screens. I don't have to remove the screens because the hose on my vacuum is long.

I usually use the vac with the soft brush attachment to get off most of the grime. Then depending on the type and size of the screen, I fill my tub with hot water and wash them, using a scrub brush to remove the dirt.

if they are bad, take the screens out and hose them off (shower will work too.) you can scrub them with dish soap and a scotch-brite pad if they need it , then rinse them off again. ..... you can also try vacuuming them with the upholstry brush attachment that will work for "lite" jobs.
