We found on a tractor parts website that our Cub Cadet (16 hp Briggs and Straton engine) uses this type of oil with no oil filter. We have never heard of it!!

I would appreciate answers from folks who have some factual or expert information on this, not just their opinion, or what they do with their clothes.

thank you

We have a large space under our bed - large enough for two 10 " high storage containers for spare sheets and blankets. I bought a plastic container. But when I store linens in them they stink like plastic when I take them out, and I have to re-wash them. I tried putting an odor-absorber in them, but it didn't seem to help much. I could buy a canvas box in hopes that it won't smell, but I can't find any.

Any other suggestions/ideas?

Hello all,

Ok, its the time of the year where washing is indoors. I rent a house and the moisture is making my duvet damp.

Originally I thought, ok, Ill buy a dehumidifier but a proper one cost about £100 my house is rented so its not like it a long term investment.

Is there a nifty trick I can utilise to remove the moisture from the air.

(I think a solution may be to contact the land lords but that aside what can you wonderful people suggest.)

thank you

matt

We took up the carpeting in our condo and have concrete underneath. We want to do a faux paint finish on the concrete but it has some paint overspray, adhesive and several cracks in it. What steps are necessary before I paint; what type of paint would I use and what type of clear finish would i use after painting?

My dish washer wont drain completely , what are the potential reasons for this? I have tried running a cycle with drain cleaner, but that did not fix it.

My house has two bedrooms. The front bedroom is the master bedroom and is the full width of the house. The back bedroom has been extended and its also a big room (23ft long). I was thinking about converting the front bedroom into 2 rooms which would end up as a decent sized room and a box room. Would it add much value to my house as it could then be marketed as a 3 bedroom. I'm not planning on selling for a while so in the mean time it would be handy as a study or maybe one day a nursery.

It grows right next to the ground, starts out like a rock shape, about the size of an apple, then when it blooms, it looks like....of all things....dog feces. Not just any dog feces, but a small pile, that someone took their fist, and smashed it. I know this sounds crazy, but I believe this to be some kind of fungus. I wouldn't be asking this, except I've seen four or five of these in my backyard,.... before, and after they've "bloomed". It starts out a light brown color, and when it opens up, it's a lovely brown.....just like dog doo-doo. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME IDENTIFY THIS?

I have a small white rose bush. It blooms only occassionally and has very few leaves. I remember something from my childhood about putting pickle juice on roses. Is this true or am I crazy?
