Is dry cleaning good or bad for wool garments?

I would say it was good as it rids the material of human stench and bugs.

Follow the manufacturers instructions on the garment label. Some wools must be dry cleaned or they will shrink or the texture of the fabric can be changed. Other wools are safe to wash.

It should be good. Washing wool in water will shrink it so handwashing or machine washing is a bad idea.
