It's only cozy until it becomes cramped. You can always make the big one cozy.

when I moved 8 years ago, I went for what I could afford if one of us would be out of work ...now i wish I would have over extended myself a little bit, so I do not have to look for anew place to live now, and the houses are so much more money now than they were 8 years ago..
if I would have gotten the bigger house and bigger yard and a pool. I would have made money on this property...yes I did make money here...but i have to put out so much MORE..than if I bought the bigger house 8 years ago....
it is all of what you CAN afford to pay....you do not want to go into debt each and every month trying to pay bills ow do you....
think of now, but also think 10 years or longer from now..because the years go by so so fast...you will be there a long time...
good luck

Big one, because the cozy place will end up being too small and you'll regret spending the money on it later when you need the money to invest in a bigger place that you could have bought before.

If you can afford it, go w/ the big one. My husband and I bought a small (about 1400 sq) home (it's 3 BR, 1.5 baths)- and we are sooooo sick of being cramped. We've got a 21 month old daughter- the combination of furniture, toys, etc. makes our house very small. We have NO storage space, I have no pantry area in my kitchen....it's a cute little house, but it's just getting too small for us. We're looking to upgrade w/in the next few years.

If you plan on having a family go for the bigger one - so you won't run out of room. You can make it feel cozy with how you decorate it!
Congrats and best of luck!!

You can always upgrade and fix up the small one and increase the value. It really depends.
Are they in the same price range? If so then I would choose the larger one.
If not... The small one.
Also ... You just got married right? Then you don't need much room for now.
You are just getting settled in the married life.. And it will be less up keep and also less cleaning if you get the small one.

The bigger house would be abetter choice if you hav kids, but the cozy house might be for you if don't plan on having a child, or you're going to have one.

When I got married we started off with a small house, then after a while we got a big one. Start off small then work your way up. Remember you just got married.

It depends, do you want a big family right away, or do you just want to have a nice cozy little place for you and your husband?
You should tell us that then we can better help you to decide...
But some say bigger is better...Are you from TEXAS?
anyway, best wishes to you and congrat's to your husband.
If you want the big family, get the big house.

Pick the big one and make it cozy. Or pick the little one and make it bigger, whichever's cheaper. I wish I had problems like that :-)
