It is a screwed on coupling, the last one before the wall. I tighten it, then maybe a week later it is loose again. it is in the back of the the cabinet so it don't get bumped. If I was to wrap the male end of the coupling with plumbers teflon tape, would that help?

Best way to care for them in the house, since summer is over here and it's too cold for them outside?
Also, should I bring geraniums and other hanging porch plants inside for winter?

Hi,
I'm interested in solving a problem I have. I would like to activate a small motor (36 watt, 0.57 amps) to turn on for 5 or 6 seconds via a motion dectector.
Does anyone know how I would do this? Is there a cheap product I could buy?

Thanks

I am putting the rope lights behind crown molding. I am installing an outlet behind the crown that the lights will be plugged in to. If I wire a dimmer switch to the outlet will it dim the rope lights? Will dimming the rope lights work?

It set fruit in early september and has grown to 18" across, but here in the northeast it is now too late and too cold to develop any further. It is only off-white.

What can I do to bring about the typical dark orange color?

Just bought a small fig tree from Homebase and it looks healthy. Am I likely to get any fruit from it? There were a couple of dead figs on the compost but they could have been from being cultivated in a green house so I am not sure.

I like in the UK.

I want to use it for guitar making and it seems to be perfect for that. The tops and back of a guitar are always joined from two pieces no wider than 8". The price of $425 seems right (plus $70 shipping).

Does anyone know the correct body to report a dodgy garden service. I paid up front (I know how stupid am I), it was a 2 part job: Part 1 was to clear up the garden and bag it all up, part 2 was to get a van to remove the refuse. He did part one promising to come back the next day to remove the refuse. After 4 scheduled pick up times he never turned up, always with some lame excuse. Eventually the bagged up refuse was killing my grass so I said I would arrange a "man with a van" but I wanted a refund for the work the guy didnt do. He agreed, now I am having the same run around trying to get my money out of him. Its been 3 "next weeks" and I am seeing red, how hard is internet banking?. Who can I report him to? Its not a lot of money but I hate being ripped off!

Any help?

I suspect my older furnace is the cause of the problem. I live in Northern Ohio and my home and furnace are 55 years old.
