I have three mature mimosa trees(20ft tall) that are planted too close to the house and are blocking the light. I want to move them. Will they survive? Does anyone know the best way to go about this?

i would suggest you move them with their mother soil, a lot of it as they will be sensitive to movement.

Well yes they can with great care. You will need to get as much of the roots up with it as possible plus the soil at the base of the trunk. Have another position already dug for it...the position should get the same amount of sunlight etc. as it had before. You should use very good soil where it will be moving and add appropriate feed. Before it goes in soak the roots well. Once it is in, water it and continue feeding weekly until it is re established.

many times, fruit bushes are tougher to transplant and that they've a low survival cost. As above, take great care that the basis ball continues to be extremely intact, and save as many of the encircling soil as obtainable to the recent internet site. Water the recent hollow nicely till now putting the bushes, and if obtainable, place a plastic pipe into the floor which you are able to use for transporting the water directly to the roots. make valuable there is magnificent drainage. The time of twelve months is critical too: i in my view prefer springtime, whilst the bushes of course prefer to place out new boost and the days are longer; the encumbent summer season is likewise a great clarification for the transplant to prefer to stay. And by way of fall/winter they might desire to be nicely settled in.

I think it may depend on how interwoven their root system may have become. Check with your local professionals. This might be a bit tricky to be honest.
