Hi,
I'm interested in solving a problem I have. I would like to activate a small motor (36 watt, 0.57 amps) to turn on for 5 or 6 seconds via a motion dectector.
Does anyone know how I would do this? Is there a cheap product I could buy?

Thanks

Kevin, is should be easy,
you can get MD's at lowe's HD
three wires black red and white
BLack will take incoming power and red to motor white to all whites
you set the timer on Motion detector to reall sensitve and short off.
If that don;t work you will need a relay
