Best way to care for them in the house, since summer is over here and it's too cold for them outside?
Also, should I bring geraniums and other hanging porch plants inside for winter?

AV: They like a bright room but no direct sun. Water them only when the top inch of soil is dry. Fert once a month with a liquid fert like Peters or Miracle Grow. And give them 12 hr of light and 12 hr of dark.

The other plants I would ditch. Geraniums and other things that would be ina geranium basket would not fare well in a house.

Yes you should bring your african violets inside because my gramma had some and she left them outside for winter and the snow killed them. You should bring all your plants inside for winter.
