I'm considering
1) The price of the extra material as well as
2) The effect the weight of the material will have on shipping cost.

So something cheap that doesn't weigh a lot would be good. (...And something that is readily availible to the public - I'm not traveling to Mars any time soon...). I'm thinking there's probably something in the hardware store, I just don't want to look down every isle without something more of an idea of what it is I'm looking for.

Argh...Yes, my categorization is poor - I couldn't find a suitable place for this question.

my fiancee and I just put our house up for sale even tho the market is horrible, in az. Its completely re-done with stone floors and new everything...we have only the best in a average neighborhood, so we want to move to a betterneighborhood and a much bigger house. My fiancee put the equity we had in to his buisness.....is that bad? and we are selling it for much more than we owe, but he says we will need to rent a house for awhile, since we dont have the cash to buy a new one?
what are our options? should we just try to get out of our contract and stay till we have the money? i dont want to downgrade because seriously we have the best house on the block and we love it its just too small and the neighborhood sucks,

Had a roof leak -- water went into wall -- wires got wet. Got a shock and had wall tested for voltage. One point on metal from slider door and other on drywall -- It read 120V. Repairs have been made to roof, ceiling --- wires have dried. Now only showing 4V. Is this normal or is their still a problem?

My child spilled red cherry koolaid on my freshly shampooed carpets. I have ran the steam cleaner over it several time and have left it there sitting even to remove the stain to no avail. We initially tried that oxyclean stain remover and that just made it worse. I've seen ads for cleaners that are specifically for red dye removal but there pricey (usually 20 bucks a bottle). Is there a cheaper way without ruining the fibers of the carpet. Help!!! Thanks!!!

I just moved into a brand new house. I have a big open area which includes the kitchen, breakfast area, and family room. My theme for my kitchen and breakfast area is coffee. I have plaid curtains, which include the colors brown, black, and ivory. In my family room, I have a dark sage couch, and my coffee table and end tables are black metal with earth-tone colored stones on top. I have one window in the family room. I would like to put a valance on that window...what color of curtain would go well in that room? Does it need to match the curtains hanging in the breakfast area?

When I turn on bath & shower it leaks downstairs to apt below. I took apart & checked handle parts but dont see any leaks. Also, they are relatively new. shower & tub spout also are relatively new. leaks downstairs even if just bath is on. Wife tried pouring water from a bucket into tub to see if drain but didnt leak - meaning only leaks when water's on. Where else can i check without opening bathtub or drain or wall. Could it be related to the seat (valves)?

My son likes to put things in his pockets all the time. After doing laundry, I went to put it all away a few days later and noticed crayon marks all over a load of clothes. He obviously had put crayons in his pocket and I didn't realize it until it was too late. Please help! I don't want to throw away an entire load of clothes.
