The old school method was lemon juice. Now I just use an oxy clean paste and leave it sit for awhile.

If it's a synthetic material, you're probably not going to have much luck, but you could try putting lemon juice on it. Let it sit for a while. Then rub some baking soda into the stained area and wash it thoroughly. If it's cotton, try a mild solution of chlorine bleach. Follow the instructions on the bottle carefully. Sometimes even cotton fabrics say "no chlorine bleach"---if so, use the lemon juice and then put the top out in the sun for a while before doing the baking soda rub and washing.

I use ammonia. It won't hurt your clothes like chlorine bleach will. Make a paste of ammonia and baking soda (outside where it is well ventilated) and put on the stain. Let it sit for an hour or so and then wash in very hot water.

Oxiclean. Make a nice paste out of it and place it on the area, rub it a bit and then let it sit for about 10 min, and then wash it normally. It’s the only thing that helped my sister.
