I woke up this morning to find a Century 21 sign had knocked down my chain link fence. Upon closer inspection the top pole is completely bent... Im sure a car had to have hit the sign to cause such damage. Do i call the police? Do i report the damage to my homeowners insurance? I have a 500 dollar deductable... Im sure the damage is repairable for much less than that! What steps should i take? Just fix the fence and forget about it?

I haven't bought a shed yet, but I was hoping to buy one with a metal floor so I could erect it on the lawn without having to dig/lay a base for it.

I have several oak trees on my property. The roots of these trees send up numerous unsightly sprouts. Is there a way to control this or get rid of the sprouts? I've tried cutting them out, but they quickly grow back. I don't want to use poison, because it will kill the tree.

If so, what type of house plant would give off a lot of oxygen? Please don't say an air plant because that wouldn't be funny! I'm trying to think of natural ways to keep household air pure during the winter months when the windows are shut for months on end!

I recently read a tip to place wet newspapers on the soil and then put mulch on top. No weeds should come through. I plan to try it in the spring; just wondering if anyone has tried this.

I washed a large bath rug in my washing machine and it is now refusing to drain. It seems that fluff has blocked it up.

Lights flicker when the air-conditioning and other large appliances are running. They have called an electrician who said he will not be able to fix it for 2 weeks and that it is perfectly fine to run everything as normal and the lights flicker is no big deal. It is very scary to have your lights constantly flicker when you are trying to do something. I am wondering if this is okay or should I demand they fix it sooner. This is only happening in my apartment.
