I have had this pipe (2 3/8 inch steel pipe)
sticking out of the ground ever since I can remember- (I just cannot remember what it was for)!
I finally got tired of mowing around it last week and cut it off...
Now I have no water pressure in my well... since the well and pump are inside my house I never made the connection that this pipe was actually, probably the well itself, or something very important to do with it???

I already realized that I am an idiot, (So please, there is no need to mention this in your response)- but could someone PLEASE tell me how to fix it now?

My house is on a lake in NE wisconsin...

HELP!!!

Already tried: Pany hose, a broom, and a swiffer.

I have that acoustic stuff on the ceiling which causes the real problem. Like, when you try to brush it off, you get an eye full of those little stalactites.

Need some advice. Looking to heat an upstairs that's about..maybe 800-900 square feet. I live in the south, so winters aren't extremely harsh as they would be elsewhere. I figure maybe a natural gas wall heater might be sufficient to heat the upstairs, if put in a central location (hallway). I guess this would be an unvented model of some sort. Does anyone know a really good brand and/or model to go with. One that circulates the air well maybe?

I'm planning on applying silicone sealant in a new bathroom between a tiled floor and the skirting board. I can never seem to get a consistent finish without blobs or gaps. Any ideas?

I have four indoor rabbits that produce lots of poop. Has anyone used rabbit manure before in gardening? They use a litter box full of wood stove pellets. Does that make any difference to plants?

I am hiring a painter with a crew to paint most of my house interior. The bedrooms are vaulted and they will be painting everything from the trim to the doors to the closets and ceilings. The square foot of flooring is about 1300 sq. ft.

I have quotes all over the place, the lowest is $800 and the highest is $3600. I am thinking about the guy who wants $1100 because he is the one who has been the most informative and has answered all my questions in great detail. He seems to know what he is doing unlike the ones that cost more.

He wants $1100 and I need to supply the paint and primer. He will supply everything else and move my furniture. He will prime everything and apply two coats to my walls and ceiling and finish in two days with his crew. The walls will be cream and the trimming, doors and ceiling are white and he isn't charging me more because everything is not one color.

Is this a good deal and any advice on what to ask or do in regards to the painting?

I live in Tucson and the roaches are about to run me out of my apartment. I have fumigated, used cans of bug killer, wash the counters with bleach, pour bleach down the drains and still am overrun by roaches. The landlord even had the place treated by professionals before I moved in....HELP!
