Already tried: Pany hose, a broom, and a swiffer.

I have that acoustic stuff on the ceiling which causes the real problem. Like, when you try to brush it off, you get an eye full of those little stalactites.

I use to use a broom with an old tshirt wrapped around the end. But I didn't make "contact" with the ceiling. Just held it up high enough to get the cobwebs and not hitting the ceiling.

Wear a face shield--use a vaccumn--spray for spiders and mites that spin the webs--but there really isn't an easy way

You can get a lambs wool duster at Home Depot that has a handle that extends. We use it here at the place I work and it's great.
