Many book stores carry books about tree identy with leaf pictures or try a tree web site, it might be able to give you pictures of what you are looking for and then just print them out for future reference. Good Luck

I think you have nothing to fear from dead leaves that have blown into the pasture. My pasture is loaded with potentially poisonous trees. I've got a few oaks, several black walnuts, and several wild cherry trees (also lots of apple trees, tulip poplars and dogwoods). I have never had a problem with them in the 8 years I've had horses on this pasture. The only potential issue I've had was that my old pony with bad teeth choked about a year ago and I suspect it might have been on a badly chewed apple. Generally, as long as your horses have enough to eat, they will avoid the oak leaves on their own.

go to this site and they have pictures of elm tree leaf, then type in the other leaves and you will get pictures........
