I am assuming you mean your exterior walls. And I am assuming you want for only thermal insulation. What was said above is really the only way. Standard insulation comes in rolls, and you have to have the drywall off to install it. What kind of insulation is in there now? Blowing insulation into the walls will not help if you already have insulation. Adding insulation to a specific room will protect it from the rest of the house, but not do a whole lot. Why do you need to add insulation. Was there none in the first place? If so, you would really know it. If there is already some there, there is not a good way to do it without taking down the drywall and replacing what is there. Blowing insulation into the walls if the wall is already insulation without taking off the drywall will just add patchy insulation, and require a lot of labor to patch the walls. Probably would be cheaper/easier just to remove and replace the drywall. Good luck.

Blown in celulose insulation is your answer. The unit has a remote control switch, like a car unlock fob that lets you turn it on and off. You will need a drill, a stud finder, a helper and some masks. After, you can do a standard hole patch on the holes with a few screws, a piece of slat, some drywall tape and some drywall mud. I have done two retro jobs and other than some dust, they are very helpful and reasonably easy to do. Usually, if you buy many bags of insulation, they store will let you use the blower free. Check out Lowe's and Menard's. Good luck.

to tell you the truth, call an insulation company. doing an attic yourself, is worth it, but not walls. I tried it myself, the time spent on it was not worth the tiny amount of money saved. Attic was easy, go to home cheapo, rent the equipment buy the cellulose, get a helper. Done in a few hours, but walls never again. An insulation company can cut holes either outside or inside and blow in insulation. Check the price between foam and cellulose. With rising gas and electric prices, efficiency is worth a little extra money up front.

it ain't easy. Drill holes between the studs and thru the drywall and blow insulation in to t he voids. You then patch the drywall and paint or cover with hangings.

blow in fiberglass or cellulose
Mark the stud after locating, take a hole saw on your drill,, drill a hole large enough to fit the hose of the blower through. Fill the cavity, use the hole removed with your hole saw as your patch for the hole.
You can use mesh tape with the patch. then mud it and paint.

Sounds like a job for a staple gun and a bunch of fabric, something I might be doing as well. It should look and feel nice and cozy after it is done. Fabric.com has a nice selection of fabric and they have a lot of sales.

MOSTLY GOOD ANSWERS, DON'T RIP IT ALL OUT, CUT SLOT & PUT UP A COMBINATION CROWN ( UPSIDE DOWN BASE & CROWN OFF OF THAT ) YOU GET & UP GARDE LOOK, USE SAME LARGER BASE TO TRIM OUT YOU WINDOW STOOL.
PATCHING IS STILL CHEAPER, YOU MIGHT GET A HEAVY
WALPAPER BORDER ( BUT NOT WHOLE HOUSE )
