The end of our house backs on to the neighbours yard. We have no access to this part of the house apart from through their house. We did not realise that we had ivy growing up the wall and only realised how bad it was becuase we can now see it coming over the roof. The root is on their side, and it is growing along their yard wall and now up and over our house. We are worried there has been damage to the roof. Whose responsibility is this, ours or theirs for letting it grow out of control? Anyone with any legal know how please?

Early rains in the fall seem to bring all kinds of spiders (rather large) in the house. Except for sealing all little cracks around the house, is there something I can put around the house to ward them off ?

Its mid October here in Saskatchewan. I still have potaotes to dig from the garden. The temps have been cold . . .down to minus 9 degrees celcius (16F) at night and only as high as 5 (41F) degrees celcius in the day. Are the potaoes ruined now? or will the ground have protected them from the frost?

I am in the process of tearing out old paneling that is currently covering my walls. The sheetrock is in good shape underneath, but the glue they used to hang the paneling with is tearing the paper on the sheetrock. My question is should I prime the areas where the ripped paper is first, or just start in on the mudding and prime afterwards? I will be texturing the walls so it doesn't need to look perfect, but I don't want to cause problems later on missing a step.

The neighbohoos has many aspen trees ina Denver, CO suburb. Our lost about half of their leaves two years ago. We sprayed at suggestion of horticulture shop for fungus which was apparent on the leaves. As the leaves were coming out (about the size of mouse ears) the trees were sprayed again. No signs of any fungus this year, hut the trees never fully leaved out. Now when leaves are turning yellow and starting to fall in the neighboir hood our changed quickly and are all down. Any ideas on thing shtatc can cause this. It's not a lack of water. Thanks!
