There is a spray mold remover you can buy at most stores: Walgreens, Rite-Aid, CVS, Wal-Mart and probably any grocery store, in the aisle with the cleansers.

I'm not sure what kind of curtain you have, but there is a product available in North America and the UK called borax. It is an old-fashioned laundry booster, and does a great job on mold and mildew. Mix the borax into a thick paste and rub it into the affected areas, then launder the curtain as usual. If there is a great deal of mold, you may have to repeat the process.

I would not recommend bleach, as it will damage the fabric of the curtain, if not the color. I would also recommend cold or lukewarm water for the wash, as hot water may set the stain. Do not tumble dry, but rather let the curtain dry in direct sunlight, as this will help get rid of the mold as well. (if you are in the UK, as your spelling suggests, sunlight might be a problem ;-)

Is it a vinyl shower curtain? If so, spray it with Tilex and you won't even have to scrub. Just rinse it the next time you take a shower.

As far as fabric mold, if it doesn't come out in the wash, try a dry cleaner who will kill the mold. If that doesn't work, get new curtains.
Good Luck.

depends on what the curtain is made from...if it is cloth and it is white try adding bleach to the wash...if it is cloth and another color try clorox bleach for colored clothes in the washer. If it is plastic as a shower curtain , just wash it in the washer and add bleach to the water. You can also dry it in the dryer carefully on lower heat setting and remove after like 10 minutes.
If bleach is a problem or you think it may be a problem try making a paste of baking soda and lemon juice...put the paste over the mold and let it dry completely then wash as usual.

good luck.

You didn't say what kind of curtain, shower or window. However in general bleach will kill mould. Try putting it in a washing machine with a small amount of bleach. If it is a colored window curtain, or cloth curtain, that is colored, use bleach made for colors.

You dont say what type of curtain so I'm quessing fabric! If it is washable then put it into the hottest wash possible and use ordinary bleach with the detergent. Or soak it in Bleach and hot water then wash as you normally would.

I've just thrown my curtains into the laundry (with jeans if it's a durable material) --plastic or otherwise. I wouldn't recommend dryer--except no, or very low heat--melts various materials. If heavy/lined "formal" curtains--best to professional clean--if they say no go--then give the washing machine a try--"it couldn't hoit"

Either wash your curtains or get them dry cleaned.

Get it Dry Cleaned or boil it, then stick it in the dryer. After that press it and spray it with Scotch guard to prevent mold
