is it necessary that door curtain should match the window curtain in one room?where can i look for colorful and also affordable curtains and wall hangings?

I think the sidelight curtains should flatter or match the curtains in the same room.

For cheap curtains, you could use twin- or queen-size bed
sheets, and stitch a rod pocket on the bottom end, which allows you let the top end of the sheet to act as a hemmed bottom. Use double layers for more privacy.

For matching wallhangings, frame and staple over old framed art --hot glue and Velcro is a sweet little secret, too.

The two curtains do not need to be alike but they do need to compliment one another in color and/or theme.

No, it's not necessary but they should be coordinated somehow, like sharing a common color or pattern. You could try using Ebay or your local goodwill to find them.
