recently removed a radiator to paint a room. I put it back, but have obviously introduced air to the system. would this have any impact ?

you need to bleed rads to get air out then just under youre boiler there is a fill up point you add water to youre system you should have a digital or analog clock youre boiler wont work right untill it is over 1 bar its best to fill it up to one and a half you could nacker youre boiler up if you dont do this
