I am assuming this is a food preparation area, and therefore all industrial cleaners are probably a bad idea.
Get a "Firm" toothbrush from the store. Mix fresh lemon juice with baking soda (bicarbonate of soda) into a paste and brush the paste into the grout. Try to keep the paste off the tile, as it is mildly abrasive. Brush firmly, then rinse with warm water.
Good luck!

I would use 409 or some Fantastic, then rinse liberally with water. If there are stains, then get a chlorox gel pen, and apply to the grout to whiten it up. Rinse afterwards..(you will be the judge of the time on that one, because you can see if it whitens it up).
Then, get something to "seal" the grout, so that the food will not get trapped into it, and create a mess again.
I wish you well..

I like SoftScrub with bleach, and a toothbrush for the grout in my bathroom. Then just rinse well to get rid of the grit.

Bleach works the best. Muriatic acid will also work, but is very caustic. Peroxide will, but is less effective. And finally the safest is citric acid.

Pour some baking soda on the area. Then pour some vinegar over that. It will bubble. When it stops, wipe it up.

Shawn, acids are not caustic, bases are, like lye. Acids are corrosive.
