I have wood paneling in the kitchen. I'd like to stain it with red to make it look like old weathered barn siding.

I have used vinegar in a jar which helps but I still have them--my house is very clean and I don't leave food out, I got the gnats when I let bananas get too ripe. Now I can't get rid of them.

The grass that grow up between eveything..our gravel in the front and the fence. Stuff is a nightmare and you have to dig really deep to get out all the root. What can kill it from above?

Our pool has been cloudy for over a month. It seems to have started when I shocked the pool. I am using the same shock I have always used and am sure that I am using the correct amount. I have tried those Formulas that supposidly clear up a cloudy pool, but they have not been successful. We use to buy a blue gel tablet at Target that you would put in your skimmer and it would clear it up in no time. They no longer have it and I can't find it anywhere. Any ideas? What is causing the cloudiness?

Thanks in Advance.

I got an estimate for $900 for termidor. They inject it around the house.

A different company wanted to set up baits around the house for $600 plus $200 a year to change the bates periodically.

I just stepped on a cockroach on my kitchen floor and it made the most disgusting sound as it crushed under my foot but what was weird about it was that it felt in a sense, theraputic/calming. And also it felt really powerfull to know that my foot has such power. Is this normal to feel!? Have you ever crushed a bug like this? What was it and how did you do it?

I'm going to install 13x13 tiles in my bath wall surround. Underneath the old tiles was regular drywall, 1/2 inch. I'm going to replacing that the hardibacker with moisture control. Should I stay with the 1/2 thick size? Also, there were some thin strips of what appeared to be thick tape between the two drywalls, near where the stud is. Any idea what this is and if I need to replace it? Thank you.
