If your furniture is antique, any antique dealer will probably be willing to make you an offer. If your furntiure is "vintage" (ie. art deco), there are probably several businesses in the Toronto area that would either buy it from you or sell it for you on consignment.
If it is just plain old used furniture, in good condition, you are likely to get the best price by advertising it in the classified ads of your local newspaper.

As for "cash counters", a web search turned up nothing. To find the businesses described above, look in your local Yellow Pages and your newspaper classifieds.
