I have a Spanish broom plant that has lost all its leaves but is still green. I live in zone 6. Help!?

I planted it in July - it never bloomed and gradully lost all leaves. It gets full sun.

July is not the best month to plant stuff so maybe it is taking time getting over the shock. If its still green sounds like it will be fine.

They are nearly leafless these plants..It blooms in late spring and early summer..it is quite possible it finished it's bloom prior to your purchase.
