Our kitchen floor is wood with tile inlays. What is the best thing you have used on wood that makes it shine (without doing anything to harm the tile).

We live in Colorado and have recently had some success at growing strawberries in a large container. Should we bring them inside for the winter OR let them go dormant so they'll come back in the spring?
My three-year old gets a big thrill out of watching them grow. Gardners....please help! Thank you

please check the following link for information about Paloma's WaiWela tankless water heaters. I am considering purchasing the outdoor model. We are a family of three and are expecting to expand to four in near future. We have a dishwasher, kitchen sink, 2 bathroom sinks, and 2 full baths. I wouldn't expect more that 2 or three of those requiring hot water at any given time. We live in south west USA at 4000' and experience winters with 10 degree lows. Any and all feedback welcomed and appreciated

I have this overgrown thing in my backyard that kind-of looks like a rhuburb plant I've seen at someone elses house, however, mine has these bunches of dark, almost black grape looking berries on it. Do rhubarb plants have berries?

to start a new one from it. Do I just cut a twig from it and soak it in water until it roots? What about sitting it in the window or should it be in a dark area. It may not be until spring again before I will be able to plant it, does it take very long to root?

I was flicking through the channels and saw some woman cleaning the grout in her bathroom tiles with a white paste and it worked wonders. The voice-over said it was a home-remedy, but I dont know what it was. Anyone watch the programme and able to tell me?

My tiles are awful and ive tried everything from the shops.

Any ideas?

The reason I ask is because the past month or so, in the midwest US, we have had a lot of cloudy days. My cactus doesn't get any direct sunlight except whatever light is being filtered through the clouds. Do I have to buy a grow light, which I know are very expensive or will a regular lamp do? If a regular lamp will do, will a regular light bulb be okay or does it have to be halogen/fluorescent??

And please be nice. Okay here goes: my brother who still lives at home (he's 19) just called me to say that he's installed a half pipe in the yard. Problem is, my parents are away on a cruise. When I told him that his skinny a** is soo in trouble he said that in fact what he did just increased the property value. Is this true or just the opposite? On the upside, he and his equally witless friends now hang out at home & are keeping out of trouble. The yard is big (about an acre) and there are no neigbors nearby to be disturbed. Will he be in trouble, I mean, are there building/planning permits needed, etc? Thanks in advance.

Its about 3ft tall and I gave it plenty of water when I transplanted it, even rained one day. The leaves are starting to look a bit limp. Should I water it more or leave it alone? Anything else I should be doing for it?
