How do i go about getting rid of or killing pst without using pesticides for my graden of organic foods? I just started and my buk choy is sprouting nicely and growing but some are getting bite marks. please help.

Try garlic repellent, neem oil and to kill the pest spray soap.....Diatomaceus earths (powder) works very good also.

You can steep garlic in warm water for a while and strain and spray, or you can use orange oil. You could sprinkle diatomaceous earth around,it will kill and dry up and soft bugs.
A great trick is to make bug juice. Go out at night with a flashlight and pick off some of the bugs eating your plants, put them in a blender and blend. Let this sit a day or so, strain and spray. This works with all kinds of bugs, once you have identified them.

Sprinkle red pepper on the plants. Supposed to work against many pests.

Bite marks may mean ear wigs or weevils... I would bet ear wigs. Especially if it happens at night.
Trap them by placing a flower pot upside down on a stake and in the morning have a bucket of hot water ready to dump them in to.
