I need a stain remover for a gel or jelly type candle. it has left an oily stain on a chair seat. the candle gives off a perfume when burned. not sure what it is made from.

Try eucalyptus oil, it is a great grease and oil remover. put eucalyptus oil on a cloth and gently dap at the stain. it should come out fairly easily if the stain is new, if it has been there awhile you may have to try a few times until the stain is gone after the stain is removed clean chair with fabic cleaner and all should be back to normal. It is probably a good idea to test the eucalyptus on a piece of the fabric that you dont see in case the
color runs. good luck

its a petroleum based and mineral oil based product. Its hard to get off furniture. I would try to use hydrogen peroxide and see if it wont come clean.
