I have this overgrown thing in my backyard that kind-of looks like a rhuburb plant I've seen at someone elses house, however, mine has these bunches of dark, almost black grape looking berries on it. Do rhubarb plants have berries?

By rough description of the plant it sounds like you have what is called a poke plant or weed. It will give you what looks like bunches of berries in grape like cluster. The berries were used by native Americans a long time ago as a dye and are poisonous to humans if eaten. Birds handle them well and if you like birds leave the plant. It will come back year after year and be larger then before. If you don't like it pull it out and get rid of it. Many people down south will use the young sprouts in a salad in spring time. Hence Poke salad. I thought this a very good question. And it is not rhubarb for sure.

No. Rhubarb does not grow berries. It is a stalk, not unlike celery, at the end of a large leaf. Take a sample of it to your local nursery and ask them to identify it for you if you are not sure what it is.
