So i went to the gas station and started to pump my gas. I guess i hadn't shoved the pump in enough, so it fell out and spurted all over me. Now, i cant get the smell out of my clothes or my car. What should i do?

No kidding, soak the clothes in Vodka. As for the car, clean it with a can of carpet shampooer with the brush on the top of the can and then soak it in vodka. if there's still a hint of it, you can get some Vodka in a spray bottle and spray it down every now and then until it goes away.

Vodka has been known to kill terrible foot odor and cigarette smoke in clothes.

My partner is a mechanic..owns his own shop and all that, and as such comes home every night reeking of gas and oil. As far as your clothes go, washing and/or dry cleaning will remove that smell. You can try using an upholstery cleaner that they have at some car washes and then hanging some air fresheners inside of your vehicle after wards. Also, try Frebreez-ing your car interior. That stuff works really good.

Try white vinegar in the wash water, about 1/2 cup full strength. For the car, I would try diluting vinegar with water, at a ratio of about 1 part vinegar to 2 parts water and wipe the interior down.

Do not wash gasoline soaked clothes in the washer, until you've first washed them out by hand. Very dangerous.
