I have this white sweater with red letters on it. I have this black nasty stain on it, in the back wear the sweater is completely white. I have been trying to get it out for at least a year and nothing has worked. What's worse is I have no idea what the stain is. It looks like oil, but I don't know. I need to get it out, Please help. Also I was thinking can you just dye a certain area on clothing without the dye going everywhere?

It was a garden for the indoors and you didnt need dirt only water, a tablet for growing and light. You can grow herbs, cherry tomatoes, and flowers. You could just set it on your kitchen table and it is a new product. Any Guesses? (its not hydroponics)

I want to sell some of my unwanted items and so would like to go to a carboot sale but I need to get hold of one/two folding tables(for easy transportation). I have looked in some stores but they seem to only sell relatively expensive picnic tables, as its only for a carboot I would prefer to avoid such expensive price tags. Thank you.

I want to trim the hedge back to the property line and put a privacy fence up. I have check the bylaws and I can install it no problem.
My neighbours are not co-operative and I just want to make sure that by trimming back, that it does not kill what will still be on their side.

The star piece that holds the blade broke off. I ordered a new mandrel housing shaft to replace it, but it appears that I need the blade to create a counterforce to remove the nut at the top. The nut sits just above the pulley. Any ideas on how I can hold the shaft to create 50 ft. lbs of torque to remove the nut?

My neighbours upstairs have bare hardwood floors and thin rugs covering floorboards. This means I get loads of noise, which wakes me in the middle of the night and is quite disturbing and intrusive in the evenings and weekends too.

The lease specifies carpets with underlays must be fitted, and though I have written to the freeholders about this they have done nothing to force them to comply. The occupants are denying they're doing anything wrong, however went quiet when I showed them the lease.

Can I take action against the freeholders because of their negligence, or is it just a case of chasing them up until they do something ?

I would be very grateful if somebody else who has had this problem could give me some advice, as this is really starting to have a bad affect on me.

A newly installed carpet got stained and had to be cleaned 3 times to remove the stains. considering that cleaning reduces the longevity of the carpet should I accept it as new carpet

The previous owner of my home painted the entire interior an Antique White (satin, except the kitchen and bathroom which are semi-gloss) including all of the walls, front, rear and side doors, floor trim, door trim, closet trim, etc which makes it all look a bit boring. I had considered painting the trim along the floors/doors/closets white (semi-gloss?) to add some much needed contrast but I have heard that may cause the antique white on the walls to look "dingy" Other features of note in the home are a large red brick fireplace with black cast iron wood stove in the living room, the carpet is kind of a steel grey berber throughout, the kitchen and bathroom both have a wood grain vinyl flooring, and all of the interior doors (bedrooms, closets) are wood also. It's all a bit overwhelming (in the dull sense) with too much of the antique white on the one hand and wood on the other! I need help! Any suggestions for guy with no color sense? (yes maybe thats a bit redundant!)

I have a full time and part time job. I have 2 boys age 9 and 11 with ADHD. My husband is a minister and we are busy with church activities, including going out of town often. Our house looks like a tornado has gone through it, and it seems like we will never be caught up with anything. I need any help you could give me.

The reason I am asking this is because the wooden flooring at the moment is a light pine colour and the thought of replacing the whole floor is very expensive and a messy business.-
