I'm sure there are plenty available due to the hurricanes that have swept Florida in recent years. There are so many mobile homes there that it's probably a buyers market right now. Try contacting a realtor online and then arrange look sees.

You can buy a used manufactured home by going through a realtor as they handle those homes in the Tampa/St. Petersburg area.

I looked into buying one about 4 years ago and, while the home was very reasonably priced and it came fully furnished with black laquor chinese furniture that was worth more than the manufactured home, the lot rent was nearly $500 per month... and that was 4 years ago...

THEN... when I checked on the insurance... I found that the insurance on a manufactured home was about 1/10th the value of the home EVERY YEAR... so every 10 years, I would be buying the home again.

I forgot the whole thing... it was just too expensive.

Look in the Flyer or in the Tampa Tribune or St. Pete Times - they advertise those, also call the manufactured home community's - there is usually someone selling their home with in those communities.
