in the case of a pitched wall you must decide if you want the object to lay flat against the wall or if you must hang it perpendicular to the floor. if you hang it against the wall you'll need double stick tape for a light object or small "L" brackets mounted at the bottom to keep it from swinging out. if you like the idea of the object hanging perpendicular, you should measure the space behind the object at the bottom and construct some sort of spacer to keep the object stable. tada

We used industrial-strength, adhesive-backed Velcro to hang poster frames on the sloping ceilings- we stapled one side of the Velcro to the pressboard back of the frame, as these are 24"x36", and not lightweight.

Be prepared to do some spackling/painting if you want to move the picture later, though....

if you want it to lay flat agiangs the wall there are mirror hangers that will work great. one on each of the corners and it will stay till you take it down. try asking someone at your local hardware store about them or if they know of another way.
