Try going to the web site of Trading Spaces. They have some really good ideas, as do Style at Home. You didn't say what the wall was made of, but I'm getting the idea it is cement, since the spiders enjoyed nesting there (they like humidity and cement will always be a bit humid). Stucco you will regret. It's messy to put on, harder to keep clean and it will tear skin if you rub up against it. Have you tried just plain old-fashioned paint??? If the wall is cement, you can now get all kinds of colors for cement walls. You can even put up blackboard paint and let your daughter have fun with her friends on that. Feel free to email me at info@divadecorsredesign.com for more info and I'll be happy to help.

PB teenager is an exceedingly solid internet site...i'm interior the flexibility of adorning my room besides and this has quite solid concepts. additionally, you're able to do a sand colored great rug or carpet and then have a white molding ging throught the middle of the partitions. the ultimate may be a seagreen and the backside may be a mild blue or something. Delias internet site has lovable stuff too :) solid success!

Try going to TLC, HGTV and DIY sites to get some ideas. I have also found HomeDepot to be full of info on decorating ideas. And if you dont' want to do it yourself find and interior designer to come and look and give you ideas. But dont' let them convince you to "custom make" everything you can get most of the same styles and trimmings from places like Anna's Linens.

Have your librarian help you search for decorating books both within and nearby your local library. There are lots of books concerning decorating for kids.
Look at magazines - most home magazines that are family -friendly will have an article per issue on decorating for kids.
Look at HGTV decorating shows (particularly Decorating Cents) for interesting ideas.
Good luck
