I've had this problem for a while and I can't find anyone else with it.

Sometimes it feels like my head is hot and burning up from the inside. I check my temperature and it is normal.
Does anyone have any idea what this may be caused by?

It sometimes happens after I eat or when I wake up but can occur at any time of the day

Thanks
xx

I'm 22 and in the past whenever I needed to lose 5 or 10 pounds, I'd do Weight Watchers and lose the weight. For some reason, this past year- the weight is not coming off. I've done WW just like in the past and have even tried Slim Fast and I cannot lose a pound. I cannot think of anything that has changed in the past year except for my job (which has been better for my eating habits- I snacked alot at my old job- without weight gain might I add!!). My new job is in radiology- I'm an x-ray tech. I really wonder if that would have anything to do with it??? Could I possibly have developed a thyroid problem because of being exposed to little bits of radiation????

I slipped on the floor in a local Wal Mart store last week. One of their employees had been mopping and failed to put up one of those "wet floor" signs. I have tried to go to my personal physician, but his office staff tell me my doctor won't see me because of where I fell. Wal Mart will not refer me to a physician either. The Wal Mart representative tells me that I have to take care of all my medical treatment on my own, and that they will reimburse me after all treatrment is completed. I went to the ER and based on the x-rays, the ER doctor feels I may have a buldging disc in my lower back. I was told to follow up with a neurosurgeon. I am starting to get a little scared, I am not a wealthy person and now I can't even use my insurance. I don't really want to sue Wal Mart, but I'm starting to feel like I am being taken advantage of by one of the wealthiest companies in the US.

So last week i was in hawaii. and towards the end of the vaca, my butt started to itch. by the time i got home it was awful. not uncontrolable call in to work bad, but pretty annoying. i chalked it up to sand in the bikini, or just being in water so much for a week, and all the walking i did in the heat. its been almost a week since ive been back and its still itching. i think it may have calmed down a little. but its definately not gone. also, while i was in hawaii, i was on antibiotics for something minor. i know that sometimes antibiotics cause yeast infections, can this happen in the butt too. sometimes, if i press at it and itch a little pink shows up on the toilet paper, but just the tiniest bit. there arn't any wierd bumps or anything present, everything looks normal to me, just a little pink from being irritated, anyone ever had this happen?

Ok, The other day it was chilly and raining hard. I was out in it for a while duing practice. Today I feel really cold, when it's about 90 + degrees outside and inside. I am not running any fever, my stomach does not feel bad, I don't have a headache, i'm not coughing and i don't have a runny nose. The only problem is that I feel very cold.

What is wrong with me, and what can i do to warm up?

I believe we are. I think that more kids get sick now and develope many allergies because of this. They are not being exposed to the normal day to day bacteria that grows in our homes.and therefore are unable to build an immunity to them. Then when a virus comes around , bamm, they are sick for ages. do you agree or disagree and why?

This was the first time I was ever told his, but I just recently had blood tests done, & the doctor said my iron was "a little" low but not that bad. & he prescribed me iron pills. Does that classify me as being "anemic", or is it that my iron would have to be chronically low for me to be considered "anemic"?

I was offered a Nurse's Aide job in a Nursing Home a few days ago...... the money I was offered is awesome and I can not wait to start.
I was talking to the lady that hired me about how I got drug tested for a job I applied a few months ago and how the lost my paperwork and I had to drive back to the testing site over an hour away to get re-tested and how much of a pain in the butt that was cuz someone screwed up at the lab.
She laughed at first butt then said she would have been furious if that happened to her.
Anyways... she told me not to worry that they don't do drug testing but I did have to go for a pre-employment physical.
MY QUESTION IS >
What is a pre-employment physical like for a Nursing Home? I've never had a pre-employment physical for a job.... only had drug testing if anything.
If drug testing is not part of it then what else will they do?
Any ideas?

I'm 15 and i stay up all night and sleep all day. Sometimes going to bed at 9 AM and getting up at 5 pm. A week ago my dad got gout in his hand and he started taking this medication to help get rid of it. Hes took if before and it makes him tired. So while he was taking it this time, i noticticed everyday when i got up that for the past week, hes been taking 3-4 hour naps. One time he gets up and hes just quiet. I noticed he coughed and it was a wet cough. He kept coughing on and off. I asked, "are you feeling okay?", "your acting strange". His replay was, "yes im fine dont worry." Ever since then (about 4 days ago it was until this day.) Hes been sleeping and has a wet cough. He has CHF, COPD, and Chronic Gout. Now i know the side effects of CHF are tiredness, shortness of breath, and all that. But do you think fluid is backing up into his lungs again?

His gout meds hes on are "indacin" or something.

So, a few weeks ago I got a terrible stomach ache, so bad that I was doubled over clutching my belly, and could hardly walk. No medicine or tea would help, and I just had to sit it out. After about 4 hours it stopped. I hadn't eaten anything strange nor had I had my period, but since it was gone, I didn't worry too much about it. But then, two weeks later I got another one as bad as the first, and it lasted about seven hours. Now, last night I just got another.

I couldn't sleep for hours, and finally at about 1:00 I fell asleep, still in pain. I woke up and felt fine, but now I'm nervous as to what it is.

Someone said something about my gallbladder, I think, and that it might have to be removed. Does that sound like a possibility? Does anyone know anything else it could be?

like people ask the dumbest questions? Seriously, c'mon a lot of these questions are not rocket science. A lot of these questions people already have an answer, they're just looking for confirmation to make themselves feel better.

so I just started going back to school again, and I'm a sophomore in high school. I calculated this all: I go to sleep at 10:00, and wake up at 6. I have exactly 25 minutes to take a shower, eat breakfast and do my makeup/hair etc. and 5 minutes to walk to the bus stop. I go to school from 7 to 2:30. I get picked up at 3 and do my homework from 3 until 4-ish (sometimes longer depending on how much homework I have). from 4 until 5 I have dance lessons. then at 5 I have to come home and eat a quick *** dinner and be at work by 5:30. I work until 9:30 and then I only have that half hour to relax and do whatever until I go to sleep at 10 and do it all over again. I feel like I'm constantly rushing around and I'm so stressed out. how can I balance this all out?!
