Watch me sound like the boss I am. If you're miserable how are you typing a question on yahoo? I'm just playing around with you, but you should think about that. I wouldn't have said this if I didn't see those dreaded words, "Training session" and "just got back from vacation" that is what will look bad if you call in. If nothing else, go in, puke everywhere and I promise, they will send you home!

You must be having a bit of sport with us. Since you are a working person, why do you need advice for that? It sounds like you are nervous and may need to say some prayers for courage. By all means, go, since you have responsibilities. You can always take time off after the training during the day, right? If you're online now, you'll be losing sleep on top of it all.

Go into work, obviously if you're feeling I'll you can tell your boss you need to go home. And if it's really that bad. They will send you home. It's better to make an attempt to get to work and hang in there, than none at all. They can't get mad at you because you're sick, and they know you're not faking it too. Basically, It shows initiative.

weigh out your options.
on the one hand if your going to be miserable you may as well get paid for it.
on the other hand you could spread your virus to your coworkers, as well as extending the duration of being sick by not resting.
i'd go for option b ;)
