So, a few weeks ago I got a terrible stomach ache, so bad that I was doubled over clutching my belly, and could hardly walk. No medicine or tea would help, and I just had to sit it out. After about 4 hours it stopped. I hadn't eaten anything strange nor had I had my period, but since it was gone, I didn't worry too much about it. But then, two weeks later I got another one as bad as the first, and it lasted about seven hours. Now, last night I just got another.

I couldn't sleep for hours, and finally at about 1:00 I fell asleep, still in pain. I woke up and felt fine, but now I'm nervous as to what it is.

Someone said something about my gallbladder, I think, and that it might have to be removed. Does that sound like a possibility? Does anyone know anything else it could be?

gas.. sounds funny but you'd be surprised how many people we get who complain of abd pain and it's nothing more than gas. next time try taking some simethicon and seeing if that helps. sounds silly, but it couldn't hurt.

It could be a certain food you ate. Is there anything in common with what you ate during the times before your stomachaches?

Please check if you have stones in your goldbladders, if it is that painful you need to get it checkout. I dont think this is normal to have this level of pain and time span. I woudl recommed that you go in for a check up and get some lab work done.
