Is it just an urban myth?
I hear it time and again, mostly from people commenting while I'm filling the needle with insulin for my dog (he's severely diabetic). I always try to get all the bubbles out,
But I can't help but get the sense that the danger is way overstated.

this is quite messed up, but here goes. 4 weeks ago i started having this pain while urinating, i went to the doctor and she said i had a uti. a week later it was back, the doctor took another test, found no infection but gave me an antibiotic anyway. a week later it came back, (last monday) and she said i should get a pap smear. i went this morning for testing... she said i no sweeling redness or white stuff on my cervix...any ideas what i have?

its almost like a smell but you can feel the smell very very complicated!!!!! it happens about once every 2 months and the feeling lasts for about 5 seconds then goes away what is happening??? it started when i was very little and kept happening HELP!

I'm currently 22, I've been working towards my lifelong goal of retiring at 35
I've saved every penny I possibly could since I was 17
But in order to reach my goal I work 12-13 hours a day, 6-7 days a week, yesterday I went to the doctor and he said I have the blood pressure of a 60 year old.
A lot of my goal is pride, I need to proove to everyone I knew growing up (and myself) that I could move up a couple tax brackets if I just push myself hard enough. But are the health risks too high?

Ok Im 14 and last time I checked I was only 5 ft ( to be exact I was 4 11 3/4). maybe Im 5 ft 1 now. jMy mom is 5 ft 3 or 4 (i dont recall). My dad is 5 ft 10. Ya think I'll grow?

ok. kinda trying to convince my mother that i can't leave the door open when the light is on because i am very scared of those ''daddy long-legged'' things. I HATE them! i hate spiders, also.

i went to donate blood for the first time today. i was a walk-in so i wasnt even expecting to donate today. So before i went i ate. Everything was fine during the whole process, but after the bag got filled i started feeling really hot and was ready to pass out. The nurse had to keep talkin to me to keep me up. Then they let me lay down for awhile. After that i walked back to work which was like a 2 block walk. Once i got here, I was ready to pass out again. Is it safe to drive home? and, what should i do to help myself feel better? Also i keep gettin real real hot and then real real cold. . . i have no idea whats going on. . . .I feel weak. . . idk if its just cuz it was my first time or wat

for example, if you know someone has a disease or condition which may not affect them day to day but is very serious (not fatal though), eg, diabetes or something, should it affect the way people treat them? I mean, even if someone behaves badly and is generally a not very nice person, should they be treated with kid gloves because of their health? Do they deserve special treatment? I can't work this one out for myself.

I crack my knuckles, [by pulling them and pushing down on them] my finger joints [by I twist the ends of my fingers and it cracks the first joint in my finger.] my back [by twisting it] my toes, knees, wrist and neck.

I've herd soooo many different things about them [some say its bad, some say its okay]

Can it cause any problems with your bones or joints?

I always get better diagnosises, the Nurses guess correctly before the test come in. I had to push the doctor due screen for Lyme's but the nurse had diagnosed it months earlier just based on the symptoms. In the meantime I had a series of X-rays and scans and had my wisdom teeth removed because of Lock Jaw.

I also think they have better bedside manner, and seem to have a better handle on multiple traumas and emergencies.

Well whenever i put some perfume on ... when ever people walk pass me in the street they sniff... i am very sensitive when people sniff near me and i know its sounds stupid...... =[ but ... im mostly scared of putting perfume on just in case it makes people sniff near me.... :(
