Sometimes it can be difficult to kill the infection of a UTI. You may have to go through several different antibiotics to kill the infection. Sometimes the pain is reoccurring because of spasms in the bladder and that requires a different medications such as Urised. This will calm the spasms and reduce the pain. Ask your doctor for a prescription of Urised.

be sure and drink lots of cranberry juice every day. This helps keep down the bacteria in the bladder. if you are sexually active you might want to take a break from sex until this problem is resolved.

STDs can often mimic a UTI. This is very common that a dr will give you meds based off your symptoms and not actual medical evidence. I would get an STD screening if I were you. Other possibilities....are you drinking at least 8/8oz glasses of water per day? You need to be doing this to flush those toxins from your body. Are you consuming chemicals such as caffiene that act as an irritant on the bladder? Is so this could be why you still have symptoms.

Carnberry juice, UTI pills from wallgreens, my girl friend just got over hers it came back twice and now its gone. She is allergic to most antibiotics so she does not even bother with them, why pay for a doctor. find natural cures. plus the doctor is expensive. and its most likley a uti there so painful, i could tell by the way she felt. also alot of water and vitiaman C it really does work.

also if you ever get a yeast infection eat yogret with live active cultures, it cures it in about 3-5 days. and its cheap only about 3 dollars. can we say great value brand from wal mart! But make sure it has the live active cultures.

Burning on urination could be a uti, std- chlamydia, gonorrhea, or vaginitis- bacterial or yeast. Could be yeast if antibiotics aren't working.
