so I just started going back to school again, and I'm a sophomore in high school. I calculated this all: I go to sleep at 10:00, and wake up at 6. I have exactly 25 minutes to take a shower, eat breakfast and do my makeup/hair etc. and 5 minutes to walk to the bus stop. I go to school from 7 to 2:30. I get picked up at 3 and do my homework from 3 until 4-ish (sometimes longer depending on how much homework I have). from 4 until 5 I have dance lessons. then at 5 I have to come home and eat a quick *** dinner and be at work by 5:30. I work until 9:30 and then I only have that half hour to relax and do whatever until I go to sleep at 10 and do it all over again. I feel like I'm constantly rushing around and I'm so stressed out. how can I balance this all out?!

pretty normal schedule for a teenager. if you can't deal with the busy schedule then take the dance lesson out of your schedule, school's more important.

Everyone has besy scheadles every now and then...make sure 2 get skool work done first priority cause parents may give u a hard time if u dont...while at work if u have free time and r not doen hitting the boks do some off that. Maybe u can try and cut down on the working hours just a bit...then u can have more time to do things for yourself if thats not possible talk to ur parents and see if they can try and manage something. Im sry I have no other suggestions!

You are a busy productive person that learned early in life how to be on a schedule. This will help in later life when you will do it all for a job and a family. It never ends. Some people sit around all day and hardly accomplish a thing---and complain about it. Take a few minutes on Sunday and relax--clear your mind--have a little fun or a good nap. Reward yourself in funways--even if it is ice cream or coffee with a friend...when you can. Keep up the good work

okay, i might not help you a lot but i was thinking of some ideas. instead of wasting time in the morning looking for clothes, plan out outfite on sunday or on your way to dance or work think about an outfit so you can have a little extra time in the morning. i dont know if your friend would do this, but when my friend gymnastics, extra hw, well a busy day, i will do some of her homework [ homework from a class we both have] so that i can help her out. maybe at work (if you get a break) you can do some of that extra hw or you can have dinner during your break so at home you have an extra half hour to catch up a little until you go to work

hope i helped!! =]

First off... focus on your priorities and do them. after everything has been done, you should use at least 2 hours JUST for you! I know there's time for school, dance lessons, homework, but when has anyone said "oh, you need at least so many hours to relax other than sleep"? re-arrange ur schedule if needed and tell your mom that dance isn't for you. you have to let her know if that bothers you. later little _G_

I'm sorry, will you accept my appology?

Start sleeping less. A full 8 hours is nice for small children, but moving into adulthood, you should be able to live comfortable on 6-7 hours a night.

You have a full plate, my daughter is still like that, full schedule. There are two answers, the obvious, ditch something to free up time, probably you won't do that. Second, as in my daughter's case, she thrives on it, and suffers when she has a whole day with nothing to do. She is more stressed when she isn't stressed, trying to find something to do. Some people are just that way, that's fine.

I have a schedule quite like yours...except for the dance lessons, I think to get at least 5 minutes of rest, you should go to the bathroom. that way we could rest and nobody could tell you off.

i don't do that, but its just a thought....

if that doesnt work, i think you should do yoga instead of dance lessons...

:) good luck

My schedule as a sophomore in high school was similar. The only thing you can do is realize you're on crunch mode and--

. o Plan and prepare all your clothes on Saturday.

. o Sleep in on Sunday. (Church is OUT.)

. o Develop a simple hair/makeup routine.

. o Get your mom/aunt/dad/sister/brother to help.

Good luck, and the efficiency skills you develop now will make you that much more successful later! ;-)

i would suggest trying to cut back your working hours, and maybe just take a minute here and there to sit down, take a deep breath, and close your eyes. try to take a study hall period in school to work on homework, so you wont have to spend as much time at home working on it.

it works for me--most of the time!!
