ii saw the commercial that shows teens in school saying how people talk about "sloming" over the weekend which stands for "sticking leach on myself" why would ANYONE want to do that and what are the affects of it ???.

I can actually pick them out, and they smell really horrible. They are hard in consistency...I have no idea what this is but its been happening for like a week now. It sounds really terrible.I know! There is no pain associated with this really, I had a bit of a scratchy throat earlier but that was the extent of it. Any ideas of what this could be? Please let me know what you think and whether you think this requires a trip to the doctors! Thanks!

so my sister just had a baby tonight - 2 hours ago a little girl - and my 3 year old daughter is dying to see her new cousin. shes even crying but the hospital will not allow children under 12 on the maternity floor due to flu season - now heres my question, do they not think that people older than 12 can carry illnesses in? am i wrong?

My 17th birthday is tomorrow and I have this white bump on the base of my eyelid. I would really like it to go away and not get any bigger. Is there anything I can do to help it heal faster???? PLEASE HELP, things like this make me nervous. I have discovered online that this is called a stye and that all I can do is put warm compresses on it. Umm I took out my contacts and that seems to have helped a little. THANKS...

I recently lost a bet to one of my friends and had to shave my chest, stomach, arms, ect. most of it is growing back ok but the stuff on my chest is just making pimples. Can i do anything about this or just wait it out? Sorry for the stupid question, and thanks for any help!

so i believe that since i just recently switched acne medicine my skin is getting all irritated,dry,flakey so im gonna stop using the acne medicine for a while. is there anything though to relieve the burning,and the dry skin. and basically is there anything that will make this irritation go away faster, especially the redness.

I have been having this headache 24/7 and I usually never get headaches. My headaches start in the base of my head and it is a throbbing pain and then goes to my jaw and then to my temples. My neck also gets so stiff from these headaches if I move it hurts even more. I feel like there is all this pressure on my head. When I stand up I am very dizzy and everything goes in black and then there is a ringing sound in both of my ears. I do get nausea and I have thrown up. I get very lightheaded too so because of this headache it is keeping me from doing my normal activities during the day. I have tried taking excedrin and Ibuprofen 800mg and nothing takes the headache away. These headaches also keep me from sleeping. It is so painful does anybody know what is wrong with me? I did schedule an appoinment with my doctor this week. My fiancee thinks that when I go to my family doc they will admit me to the Hospital is that likely to happen? I am just so worried can somebody please help me asap?

By sore I mean like really sore.

I have to carry around a heavy load a long way pretty much every day, and also pretty much every day I go swimming.

When I swim, I don't even kick that much, but when I do, I feel very sore

I stretch enough, don't worry

What can I do?

I went to school today even though my throat hurt realllllllly bad in the morning, but i thoguht maybe it will go away later on the day. But it didn't. And the left side of my nose hurt reallly bad. and i had the most horrible headache everrr, i also felt like i have no energy, kinda like drowsy.I just wanted to go to bed.because i felt really tierd. so i came home today and i was watchin tv in bed for the rest of the day. I was starting to get a fever, so i took motrin to get rid of it ( and my headache) my headache is gone now because of the motrin, my nose is allll stuffed up, my throat still hurts... should i go to school tomorow or just stay home? What do you say?

my daughter was given a shot of rocephin (a one dose, super strong antibiotic for ear infections) yesterday afternoon at about 2p.m. This morning she had little red dots under both eyes and she still has it...after looking it up on google I'm scared. But she's acting o.k. and has no other symptoms so I'm conflicted..anybody know anything about this?
