How come when you hold your nose, your voice changes?

i can't figure it out, what do you all think?

It's because Ur cutting off Ur sinus passage way. Ur breathing thru Ur mouth as Ur speaking, Its a voluntary function of Ur body. Hope this helps U. I know I got to
