I can actually pick them out, and they smell really horrible. They are hard in consistency...I have no idea what this is but its been happening for like a week now. It sounds really terrible.I know! There is no pain associated with this really, I had a bit of a scratchy throat earlier but that was the extent of it. Any ideas of what this could be? Please let me know what you think and whether you think this requires a trip to the doctors! Thanks!

I get them all the time. I call them puss pockets. My doctor told me not to pick them out. To let them come out on there own and eventually they will heal. And sure if enough if I leave them alone they will heal after awhile. But I hate waiting. If you are daring you might want to talk to your doctor about having your tonsils taken out. Mine told me to do it. But I'm a scardy cat.
Good luck.

If you want to learn more about this, simply so a search on tonsil stones and you will find out alot about them.
