When someone sneezes and you say "God bless you", then they sneeze like 2 or 3 more times, do you have to say it after each sneeze or is once enough??

YOU DONT NEED TO SAY IT ONCE IF YOU DONT WANT TO.IVE HEARD IT DATES WAY BACK WHEN IT WAS THOUGHT THAT YOUR HEART STOPS OR SKIPS A BEAT OR SOME SUCH THING. THE BEST THING IS TO HAND THE SNEEZER SOME TISSUES SO THE SNEEZER CAN COVER THEIR MOUTH DURING THE NEXT BLAST. I CANT SEEM TO GET GOD AND SNEEZING TOGETHER.

After the first sneeze, I wait for a minute since many times, second sneeze will follow. If not, then I say it. If so, I wait again for another, then repeat.

I would think once is enough, then you could probably ask them if their ok. People saying the phrase God bless you got started because people believed that when you sneezed that your soul left your body. I believe in God, and its nice when someone says it, but its not really necessary. Because of societies beliefs and traditions, its customary to do so.

Im a multiple sneezer so i would have to leave the room....i literally sneeze 10 times in a row... not into buffets to many horror stories about them...

Say "bless you" when they are done with thier rampage of sneeses. Thats what I do. So you just have to wait a bit till thier done, oyou can usualy tell... or you can go with the answer from your first person who gave you one.
