I'm a female,17 this year.My height is about 5ft 3 (160cm).As I've have Hypo-Thyroid,I have haven't grown for more than 3 years.My height remained as I was in Grade 7.I want to grow taller as seeing because all my friends seem to have grown so much.Even those who were shorter than me are now so much taller.I would like to grow about 20-30cm taller.I've heard of treatments whereby people inject hormones into their bodies to allow them to grow taller.But with my Medical condition,I'm not sure if I can be able to do that too.Can anyone please help me out with this?Thnx A MILLION!

When I use computer for a long time upto 5-6 hours,it affects my eyesight.I can not clearly see the monitor,hardly can read the texts and then it causes severe headache.But it doesn't happen regularly.Couple of times in a month. Should I visit a doctor?

Just minutes ago I think I overdosed on Famotidine, for ulcers. I went online and read that I would have an increase in heart rate. My heart was going pretty fast. It also said to seek medical attention. Should I go if I suspect? Will I be okay? What do I do?

Hey guys, I got the worst food poisoning I've ever had from some gnarly tofu I ate yesterday. I havent eaten in over a day and I'm sick as all hell. Is there anything I can do/eat to speed along the process and help me feel better.... Thanks

I am 18, 5'8 and for 2 years weighed 149lbs, in the past 8 months i have gone down to 129lbs. I havn't been eating to well for the past 2 years, in grade 10 i didnt eat breakfast or lunch and little dinner, it got to the point when I ate half a chicken breast and felt full. I still dont eat regularly, I can go a day without eating and only drinking a bottle of water. I began smoking a year ago, smoked weed for 2 years, and have now become addicted to cocaine. I drink regularly, and most nights consume different chemicals, such as doing coke, E, prozac, morphine, or anything offered to me. I have abused my anti-depressents, I was on zoloft and stopped, I also snorted the powder inside, the prozac i dont take everyday, i do it when i want, or when i remember, and sometimes do 2 in one day, I have also snorted the powder with cocaine. My question is, what am I doing to my body, and what will come into my future if I don't change my habits?

I just started to quit smoking cigarettes a week a go with the help of chewing nic. gum and wanting to quit! But I'm slowly putting on wieight !! If I'm not chewing on my gum, then I'm constantly eating, and its always a crave for sweets! What can I do to stop this because I seriuossly don't want to gain weight, and I don't wanna depend on food if I don't have gum!

About a month ago, i started to get bad headaches, and i was also craving salt. So i cooked up a batch of fries, and my headache went away about 5 minutes into eating them. I have been tested for diabetes a year or so ago. showed no signs. Any other possiblities? It doesnt run in the family, however my cousin does have it. Is this normal? or should i go to the family doctor?

I was watching some show on TV where a doctor was testifying in court talking about a common prescription for something. He said two long medical words and the lady typing asked him to spell what he had said, he spelled o-r-g-a-s-m for her. Obviously he must have used the "proper" terms for orgasm...does anyone know what these terms are?

Lots of work to do tonight, and I'll be getting at least 3 fewer hours of sleep than I normally do, and really need to function during the busy day tomorrow. Is there something I can do before I go to bed etc. that will help me make up for lost sleep?

I wake with a tense jaw and a dull headache (sometimes a migraine) every morning and have done for quite some time now. I've been thoroughly checked out medically and although I'm told I have nothing serious wrong there is no explanation of why I am feeling like crap every day. I've recently read about TMJD or TMD and have been given a night guard by my denist to try to stop possible jaw clenching. I've only had the guard for about a week but things have not improved - I think they have got worse.
Can anyone else with similar problems tell me how they have gained their life back? My quality of life has gone and I'm sick of having my days ruined.

Has the drug Benadryl changed recently?
I have a food allergy. In the past when I felt the reaction coming on I could take Benadryl and keep the reaction down until it passed. Now I'm having trouble keeping the reaction under control. I wondered if they have weakened the over the counter version of Benadryl
I thought I should add that I realize that my alllergic reaction could be getting stronger...
However, I noticed that the side effects of ther Benadryl are no longer present these days...
That is.... I don't get tired or "loopy" or "unable to operate machinery" like I used to a year or more ago when this last happened.
