It could be many things. If you are female... chances are that it is a UTI due to the profound structural differences in the female anatomy. However, males can get UTIs as well. Are you urinating more often? Do you feel as if you are not going to make it to the bathroom? How long has this been going on? All of these questions are things you should be prepared to answer as you see, or even call, you physician. Sad to say... you also have to consider the fact that it may be an STD. Also another thing to consider... it may be some type of obstruction.. whether it be anatomical or physical (stone). I would say that you should see you physician... and push as much cranberry juice as you can take. The cranberry juice has acid that will help if it is a UTI.

Urinary tract infection causes burning with urination. Cranberry juice will flat kill a kidney infection for me; I've had many, and don't bother a doctor any more, just get another jug of the nasty stuff. Couple of glasses a day should do it. Cranraspberry tastes better, and seems to be just as effective.

Sounds like a Urinary Tract Infection/Bladder Infection or something a little more personal. Go to a physician to confirm before it becomes systemic.

In the meantime ... drink lots and lots of water and unsweetened, undiluted, pure cranberry juice.

You should definitely go to the doctors wether it is a UTI or STD. I had a UTI once and I wasted time, I ended up in the emergency room with a kidney infection. And that stuff is painful and dangerous.

By the way, if it is an STD, please make sure to inform your sexual partner(s), no matter the situation.

Doesn't sound good. Avoid sitting on cold floors. Wear pants or whatever (to keep yourself warmer down there). And finally, see a DOCTOR!
