Just minutes ago I think I overdosed on Famotidine, for ulcers. I went online and read that I would have an increase in heart rate. My heart was going pretty fast. It also said to seek medical attention. Should I go if I suspect? Will I be okay? What do I do?

I called the poison center and a Dr. said to not worry about it. If I did take 2 tablets, total of 80mg, I will be fine. I weight 190-200, and he explained something about people having to take 20 and not dying. My heart began to beat because I got nervous that I might have overdosed.

How many tablets anyway did you take? how many mg 10,20,or 40 mg tab? Any of these mg is ok 2 per day. If you took 2 you are not overdosed. Side effect constipation or diarrhea & headache watch for it. Report sore throat, fever, unusual bruising or bleeding to your physician. Call 911 if you feel difficulty breathing.

If money's and you are scared of debt you could call a taxi in order to go to the hospital. I've called ambulances before and even the guy in the ambulance adviced against calling an ambulance because of price.

In the time you spent here posting that question is the time you should have been calling your doctor, a poison hotline, or going to the Emergency Room.

Contact a poison control center immediately.The site is http://aapcc.org They will advise you on further action. If you're feeling really bad, call 911.

seek medical attention straight away. Or if you know your naibours go and visit them for a while, if somthing happens to you at least you will have company to call a ambulance.

For gods sake don't let your publicists do anything like TO.
If in doubt call 9-1-1 the don't charge you if an ambulance just comes to your house, they only charge for transport.
