I am 18, 5'8 and for 2 years weighed 149lbs, in the past 8 months i have gone down to 129lbs. I havn't been eating to well for the past 2 years, in grade 10 i didnt eat breakfast or lunch and little dinner, it got to the point when I ate half a chicken breast and felt full. I still dont eat regularly, I can go a day without eating and only drinking a bottle of water. I began smoking a year ago, smoked weed for 2 years, and have now become addicted to cocaine. I drink regularly, and most nights consume different chemicals, such as doing coke, E, prozac, morphine, or anything offered to me. I have abused my anti-depressents, I was on zoloft and stopped, I also snorted the powder inside, the prozac i dont take everyday, i do it when i want, or when i remember, and sometimes do 2 in one day, I have also snorted the powder with cocaine. My question is, what am I doing to my body, and what will come into my future if I don't change my habits?

Take this from a person who used to have a chemicals habit.
you are destroying the grey matter of your brain, that little tail like thing in your brain, responsible for creating new brain cells will be dying (if not dead already)
when you snort powder it burns the inside of your nostrils and burns your throat on the way to your stomach.
your stomach lining is probably really thin right now and that is dangerous, as the acid in your stomach is a mix of hydrochloric and sulphuric acid, if this leaks into your chest cavity you will have PROBLEMS.
the best thing to do is quit, i know it is far easier said than done but it is worth it, don't get me wrong it hurts and is unpleasant, but the discomfort shouldn't last too long and life is so much better without it, you can start enjoying days out, and evenings in with someone special.
i know i sound like a washed up hippie (maybe coz i am) but quit, get help if you need it (your doctor will know where to go) and you will really start enjoying life.
good luck

You know what your doing and maybe you want help. So go and get it. Goodness knows why you got in this state in the first place. Yes you are abusing your body and unless you stop you will die very soon. B4 age 25 i should think but until that day you wont get a job and will scrounge off the state putting more pressure on the decent people who get up every day and work to pay taxes to keep your SORRY ****!!!
You have a choice every time you stick that stuff up your nose. Are you that weak you cant make the right choice.

I think you should go and see your doctor and see if he can get you into rehab. You are slowly killing your body and as for your future, you wont have one if you don't get help A.S.A.P.
Harsh but true.
You don't sound like you have much self respect
so if nothing else think of how this is effecting your family and (true) friends. Try and distance yourself from those you do drugs with they are not proper friends. They probably look at you as the one up for a good time when they want too get off the heads. Stay away from them move away if need be.
Good Luck. Take Care.

Your eating habits are the least thing to worry about- not too healthy but its rather the drugs you should take care of first- seek some help if you feel that you can't stop on your own. And if you really need antidepresant- stick to the one your doctor prescribed to you- in the prescribed dose. it's supoused to do the trick without you needing to look for other chemicals. Otherwise- you're heading for the early grave- choice is yours.
All the best
Take care

Dear Ellen,
I'm thinking that you know the answer to this question, you must.
First of all, cocaine suppresses the appetite. Your "hunger" for cocaine overrides your bodies desire to eat food. If you'll notice, those addicted to many kinds of drugs wither away to practically nothing. When you deprive your body of nutrients, the body first goes after your stored body fat. When that fat is gone, it goes after the muscle tissue. And you will deteriorate from there.
The drugs and alcohol you are putting into your body will eventually wear away at your vital organs. At times, especially with cocaine, it will cause your heart to beat rapidly, and cardiac arrest is possible. Alcohol, to extreme, is very damaging to your liver which filters out impurities from your body.
Cocaine can cause extreme harm to your nasal passages and your sinuses. If you're mixing cocaine with anti-depressants, you risk a chance of your body shutting down and putting you into a coma, or perhaps death.
You are literally destroying your body, and I'm being honest with you, if you continue on this path, you will have a very short life expectancy, and I don't see you going out without a struggle. Your body is screaming at you now to stop. You need to.
I suggest that you check into a drug rehab ASAP. If you do not do something soon, I would suggest that you write your will. I'm sorry for being so blunt, but that is the honest truth.
I will pray for you.

If you are only 18, how in the world do you have enough money to support such a habbit? Apparently, you got the anti-depressants from a doctor. Go back. If this is real, get professional help.

Not only are you damaging your body but you're damaging your mind. It's been my experience that people who have done drugs while they were young developed personality problems when they got past their 40's. Things like paranoia, inability to concentrate, loss of initiative, loss of ability to form rational ideas, etc., and this is even if they have given up the drugs.
You're only chance for a decent life of any kind is to give up the drugs now and go into rehab. Of course you will do whatever you want to so, unless you're forced into it I doubt that you will do anything but continue doing whatever it is that you are doing.
You're future, if you don't stop, is living on the street, prostitution, abuse, ill health, looking 30 years older than your age, and, of course, early death.
But, hey, smoking weed and doing drugs is so much fun isn't it.

Sorry to be harsh but the only thing coming your way if you carry on is premature death (or at the very least prison). Please seek professional health immediately. It is no wonder you are not eating with all the stimulants in your system. You are doing dreadful damage to your body - get help to stop now before the damage goes too far.

Ok babe I gotta tell ya, been there done that. If you can't keep it to a social, having fun level, give it up. You are giving yourself, internal organ problems, especially liver, heart, kidney. Are you gonna want kids? You're also messing with your mind. You'll be a mess. AND that's not including the physical danger you're putting yourself in when you're out of your head. You'll get friends that ain't really friends. Go see someone. Take control of your life.
