Its a matter of personal choice. My father had a big booming sneeze. I think he loved feeling like the big man when he sneezed. Most girls have a little wuzzy sneeze of course =) Yah that's right folks, STEREOTYPE!

I sneeze quietly when I'm with mixed company. But if feels good to let out a rip snorting loud far.. errr.. sneeze every once in a while. Try it. It feeeels real good.

I don't think it has to do with anything biological or genetic.
I think it's based on personality, personal choice, and habit.
